British over-50s more likely to cheat
A British study suggests people older than 50 are more
likely than younger Britons to cheat on their spouses or
long-term partners.  The British Sexual Fantasy Research
Project, which examined the sex lives of more than 13,000
Britons, suggested 30 percent of people over 50 in the
country have had sexual relations with someone outside
their marriage or partnership, The Daily Mail reported.
By contrast, only 14 percent of men and women under 30
reported similar behavior.  The study, led by
psychotherapist Brett Kahr, found 42 percent of all men
in relationships, and 31 percent of all women in
relationships have kissed other people while in committed
relationships.  "As we may not fully appreciate, sex
might be the most sensitive barometer of the solidity of
the relationship between husband and wife, or between
two lovers," Kahr said. "When the gremlins of infidelity
or inattentiveness or other forms of cruelty enter the
relationship, then the sexual life will suffer as a
consequence."

Hang on, just stop right there. I thought that people stopped having sex after 50. I mean I know i want to be having it way after that, but surely no other person over 50 does do they? It's just a no no, what a gross thought. So surely this research is based solely on people who lied. because none of them had sex, so none could be cheating. Thank you, and don't come back and try to tell me I'm wrong, because I just won't bellieve you.

So, 30% of over-fifties have cheated at some time in their lives? Not just since they turned 50? The difference couldn't just be because they've had more of adult life in which to be unfaithful?
Just seems like a bit of a disparity there. It's still interesting though.

Yeah, the thought of an aging couple doing it is kind of creepy, but they do, and that's all I want to know.

I'm guessing that younger couples are still idealistic enough to believe and stick to their wedding vowels. Probably people over 50 who have been married for 20 or more years are pretty tired of waking up with the same person every morning and are more likely to cheat. Just my thoughts.

I find the thought of younger people groping in the dark, not knowing what they are doing totally disgusting.
Give me the subtlety of knowledgeable fingers, lips,... and the certainty of experienced touches and words. Give me these things any time.
Besides, what do you guys think is in your future, babyhood? I doubt it!
